Aatera Iman is the Communications & Promotion Officer at SRF Foundation. She is responsible for communications and campaign promotions through online and offline engagement channels. She has interned with organizations,namely National Productivity Council and Bhumi where she developed effective written and verbal communication skills. She has also assisted Mr. Merajur Rehman Baruah in the making of ‘The Deep Rising’ documentary that won various awards. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from the Delhi University and a Master’s in Development Communication from Jamia Millia Islamia University.


Anil Kumar is the M&E Manager of SRF Foundation, is responsible for implementing M&E processes, and strengthen the overall existing data monitoring system at the Foundation. He is also responsible for managing and coordinating the data flow and monitoring the progress of the program activities. He has an overall professional experience of 9 years in the social sector. Prior to joining SRF Foundation, he was associated with Room to Read, as an Associate Manager, Database Analyst. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and a Master’s degree in Information Technology (Data Management).


Anisha Shekhar is the Partnership Officer, responsible for managing all existing partnerships and identifying opportunities to stretch these partnerships further. Her role involves coordinating all the operational aspects of the partnership, including correspondence with partners, resolving day-to-day issues and accurate recording of the partnership activities. Prior to SRF Foundation, she worked with READ India where she handled various CSR projects. She has also interned with a number of NGOs such as CRY, HAQ, Udayam Paryas and Antarchakshu along with fieldwork affiliations with various CSR agencies. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Delhi University and a Master’s in Social Work from the Amity University.


Bata Krushna Routray is the Accounts Manager, responsible for financial accounting, analysis, taxation, budgeting and generation of reports. With rich experience of twelve years, he has, over the years developed excellent accounting and analytical skills and decision-making competence. Prior to joining SRF Foundation, he worked with the Asian Society for Entrepreneurship Education & Development, New Delhi. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Utkal University, Orissa.


Bhagya Lakshmi Balaji, a UGC NET (Education) qualified and a postgraduate in Education with specialization in Educational Management has been with The Shri Ram School since 2010. Since 2015, she has been spearheading the 3EP & Shri Sambandh Programs of SRF Foundation. As a part of this role, she is responsible for managing the curriculum development teams, liaising with officials and teachers, developing educational programs, evaluating teachers’ performance and preparing teaching and training schedules. She is also a certified Elementary Teacher and a Computer Programmer.


Gatisheel Dass is the Promotion and Communication Officer at SRF Foundation. At SRF Foundation, he is responsible for communicating effectively with the target audience, to help disseminate a positive reputation for the organization and its partners. Gatisheel has previously worked in E-learning industry as a digital curriculum developer and trainer with Class teacher Learning Systems. He has worked with various national and international non-governmental organizations like Population Foundation of India, Population council, Cure India, Save the Children India, assisting them in several research and communication projects. He believes in balanced life wellness and strives to work towards a more humane world, one day at a time. He holds a postgraduate degree in Sociology from the Delhi School of Economics and a Graduate from Sri Venketeswara College, Delhi University.


Gulzar Hussain is the Partnership Manager, responsible for nurturing, strengthening and developing, monitoring and reporting the impact of the CSR programs across SRF’s plant locations. He is also responsible for program operations and partnerships management through building long-term relationships with existing and prospective partners in the Foundation’s partnership portfolio through a systematic process-driven approach. Prior to joining SRF Foundation, he worked at Digital Empowerment Foundation through TATA Trust conceptualization ITE (Integrated approach to Technology in Education), where he played a key role in managing the project in Assam & Meghalaya. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, a Master’s degree in Social Work with a specialization in HRM & Community Work from the Aligarh Muslim University and is a Gandhi Fellow.


Joysina Chawla joined SRF Foundation in 2007 as a part of the team to set up the Enhancing Early Education Program (3EP), and develop and design its curriculum. Her expertise lies in the areas of curriculum and skill development and classroom management. She has conducted many workshops for teacher capacity building on a variety of topics for in-service teachers in various schools in Delhi NCR.


Kanika Kawatra is the HR Officer at SRF Foundation. As a part of her role, she is responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of our manpower resources. In the past, she has worked with various industries in the HR function. Kanika holds a Bachelor degree in commerce and Masters in Human Resources.


Kusum Rahi is an Academic Coordinator for the Rural Education Program in Mewat. She is responsible for developing and implementing the curriculum that meets the education standards and analyzing the students’ performance and teachers’ accountability. She started her professional career with SRF Foundation in 2014. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts from Meerut University. She has also completed the professional course of Enhancing Early Education Program (3EP), which is conducted by SRF Foundation.


S. Neelam Sharma is the Academic Coordinator of the Science Education Program. She provides technical and documentation support for the Teachers Try Science (TTS) and Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) Program. She is efficient in Hindi and English typing and in MS Office. Before joining SRF Foundation, she was working as a Lecturer of Physics in Tamil Nadu College of Engineering. She is a graduate and post-graduate in Electronics and Communication Engineering (VLSI Design) from Anna University, Coimbatore.


Pragati Goel is an Academic Coordinator in Mewat and is responsible for developing a culture of continuous dialogue with the teachers and students. She started her professional career with SRF Foundation in 2013 and over time has exhibited effective communication, management and coordination skills. She has also made continuous curriculum advancements, which has led to enhanced learning outcomes. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce M.J.P. Rohilkhand University and an MBA in Human Resources from IMT, Ghaziabad.


Probir Mandal is the Accounts Officer, responsible for providing support in accounting, bookkeeping, budgeting, auditing, taxation and financial reportage. Prior to joining SRF Foundation, he was associated with KATHA, where he learnt the practical application of the accounting tools and gained proficiency in Oracle, SAP and Tally. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the Delhi University and is currently pursuing MBA in Finance from IGNOU.


A. Rakesh is the Head of Education Program & Process at SRF Foundation for the Rural Education Program that primarily aims to transform Government schools into model schools. He is responsible for developing, facilitating and monitoring the education programs and improving processes. He brings close to seventeen years’ experience in the NGO sector and has previously been associated with Dr. Reddy’s Foundation where he played a key role in the ICT and Non-ICT interventions, aimed at eliminating the gap in the quality of pre and primary education in the urban and rural areas. He has a graduation degree from the Osmania University.


Rishit Yadav is the Program Officer for the Mobile Digital Bus Management Program and is responsible for providing the operational and administrative support in implementing the program. Prior to SRF Foundation, Rishit was involved with various CSR programs in the remote areas of India. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from Delhi University and a Master’s degree in Development Leadership from the Indian School of Development Management.


Shakeb Alam heads the IndiGo School Adoption project for interventions in Indore, Dehradun and Vadodara. He is responsible for overseeing collaboration across project teams and deriving good CSR program success metric for all three locations. Prior to joining SRF Foundation, he spent eighteen months at PFEL as a program leader and successfully organized various state resource workshops in collaboration with the National University of Educational Planning and Administration (NUEPA). He holds a Master’s Degree in Social Science and specialization in Human Resource from Aligarh Muslim University and is a Gandhi fellow.


Surabhi Setya is the Programme Associate for 3EP and is responsible for building and maintaining a sustainable internal system and infrastructure to support the curriculum and facilitating operational and administrative needs of the Enhancing English Language Development Program (EELDP) that aims to build effective English communication skills. She has spent several years working with children in the primary years. She holds a Master’s degree in child development.


Teesha Chugh is the Education Officer, responsible for providing operational and administrative support to the Academic Enrichment Program. She is a part of the Academics team. Her role involves coordinating all the operational aspects of the program. Prior to SRF Foundation, she worked with READ India where she handled various CSR projects. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from St. Stephen’s College and a Master’s in Social Work from the Amity University. She has performed outstandingly well in the field of sports wherein she has represented Delhi and won medals at the National Level.


Umang Mehta is the Accounts Executive responsible for providing support in accounting, bookkeeping, budgeting, auditing, taxation and financial reportage. He has proficiency in Oracle, SAP and Tally. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the Delhi University and a diploma in Computer Networking from the Department of Electronics and Accredited for Computer Classes (DOEACC).
CSR Champions @ Plants


Dhrubo has more than twenty years’ experience in commercial and marketing with various organizations. Prior to joining SRF, he was associated with M/s. Hindalco Industries Ltd. (Birla Copper) for close to seven years. At SRF’s Chemicals facility in Dahej, he is heading the Commercial department. The role encompasses the management of logistics, store, purchase and chemical sales. He has been actively involved in driving the CSR activities in the vicinity of SRF’s plant in Dahej. He has completed his Bachelors in Commerce from City College, Calcutta University and MBA from L. N. Mishra College of Business Management, Muzaffarpur.


Francisca Tina is the CSR Champion, responsible for managing the HR & CSR activities at SRF Manali. She has a work experience of eight years. Passionate about CSR since the inception of her career at SRF, she has been instrumental in engaging employees to contribute actively in all CSR activities. Tina has launched several innovative CSR campaigns such as the Joy of Giving, Book Donation Drive, Waste to Worth and Care and Share, among others, that have had a positive impact on the community. She has completed her Bachelors in English Literature and her Masters in Social Work specializing in Human Resources from Chennai, India.


Manish Kumar Srivastava is the CSR Champion at SRF’s Packaging Films Business manufacturing plant in Indore. As a CSR Champion, he is responsible for managing and coordinating with the CSR Council members, execution of CSR projects and monitoring the progress of the operational activities. He has an overall professional experience of four years in the social sector. Prior to joining SRF, he was associated with Minda Silca Engineering Limited. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science and a Master’s degree in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations.


R. Nagaraj is the Deputy General Manager – HR at SRF Gummidipoondi. As a part of his role, he also oversees the CSR activities at his location, with the highest level of employee participation in various initiatives. Nagaraj has close to twenty-one years of experience in driving the Human Resources department and aligning it with business outcomes. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration – Specialization in HR from the Bharathiyar University, Coimbatore, a Master’s degree in Sociology – Specialization in Industrial Sociology from the Bharathiyar University, Coimbatore, a Bachelor degree in Law from the Bharathiyar University, Coimbatore, a Post Graduate diploma in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations from Annamalai University. He has also completed Ph.D. in MBA in March 2019. Nagaraj is a certified practitioner in application of psychometric tool – Thomas profiling and a certified internal auditor for ISO Quality standard.


Rakesh Tiwari is the Senior Manager – HR and Admin at SRF’s Gwalior plant. He is also the CSR champion, responsible for managing and coordinating with various teams and monitoring the progress of the operational activities. He is also responsible for building long-term relationships with Government agencies for the smooth execution of CSR programs. He has a work experience of more than fifteen years and holds a Master’s degree in Personnel Management from the Pune University.


R K Maurya is the CSR Champion at Kashipur. As a part of his role, he is responsible for transforming the school education system across thirteen schools in nine villages by implementing various programs aimed at cleanliness, sanitation, safe drinking water facilities and the provision of play equipment in the schools. With his efforts, the schools are witnessing an increase in the enrolment numbers, decreased absenteeism, etc. A large number of students from these schools are now participating and winning block, State and National championships in various sports.


Surendera Khandelwal is the CSR Champion for the Bhiwadi site and managing the HR, Admn and CSR function as the General Manager. He is actively involved in CSR activities from the past five years as the CSR champion. Under his leadership, Bhiwadi CSR team has achieved many milestones and continuously working in upgrading the twelve nearby school and maintaining strong relationship with the community. Some of the noteworthy work includes the launch of the first WoW bus at Bhiwadi, creation of a strong CSR council team of twenty employees, who are taking the lead in CSR work in assigned areas. Surendera is a postgraduate and holds a Diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations.


T.K. Srivatsan is the CSR Champion, responsible for managing the HR, Admin & CSR activities at SRF Viralimalai. He has a work experience of thirty-four years. He has been an active member since the inception of CSR at SRF. Passionate about CSR, he has been instrumental in engaging employees to contribute actively in all CSR activities. Srivatsan has launched several CSR campaigns to support school development programs such as sports promotion initiatives, Basic Computer training and English speaking courses, slow learners and career guidance programs, among others, that have had a positive impact on the community. He has completed his Bachelor’s in Physics and earned a Master’s in Business Administration and Labour Management from Chennai, India.
Field Team


Akram Siddiqui is the Programme Officer for the IndiGo School Adoption Project in Gautam Budh Nagar, Noida, Uttar Pradesh and is responsible for coordinating and facilitating the operational needs for the implementation of the CSR programs at the site. He has an overall work experience of four years in the field of education. He holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from the Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANNU), Hyderabad.


Anuj Sood is the Programme Officer for Capgemini School Adoption Program in Noida. At SRF Foundation, he has the responsibility of managing, monitoring and implementing the program activities. He has 2+ years of work experience. Prior to joining SRF Foundation, he was associated with Continental Tyres India Pvt Ltd. as a Project engineer. He has completed multiple high-value projects in a timely and cost-effective manner with a focus on energy reduction. He has completed B-Tech in Mechanical Engineering from DR. A.P.J. ABDUL KALAM TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY –in 2015.


Ashwath B. K. is the Programme Officer for the Brillio Digital Based Learning Program and is responsible for managing, coordinating, communicating and monitoring of the CSR engagement activities across twenty intervention schools in Bengaluru. In the past, he has worked with Agastya International Foundation as a Centre Incharge in Bengaluru urban locations. He holds a Bachelor degree in Education from the Mysore University and a Master’s degree in Chemistry from Kuvempu University.


J. Dinakaran is the Programme Officer for the Capgemini School Adoption Project in Chengalpattu and is responsible for managing and coordinating communications with various teams and monitoring the progress of the operational activities. He has an overall professional experience of four years in the social sector. Prior to joining SRF Foundation, he was associated with the Leaf Society, Chennai, where he oversaw the WASH project and was a celebrated team member of Childline 1098 project. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, a Master’s degree in Social work, an M. Phil in Life Skill Education -Adolescent Girls and a Post Graduate diploma in Counselling from the Bishop Heber College, Trichirappalli.


Harun Khan is the Programme Officer at SRF Foundation. He has a work experience of more than five years in the development sector, specializing in the area of Education. At SRF Foundation, his responsibilities include building relationship with the Government agencies as well as planning and monitoring various projects across Haryana and Rajasthan. In the past, he was associated with the Agastya International Foundation and worked in various capacities, including instructor, master trainer and area manager for Haryana and Rajasthan. He holds a Master’s degree in Physics from Swami Vivekananda University, MP and a Bachelor’s degree in education.


Kamaleshwer Mishra is a Vocational Coordinator at Mewat and is responsible for developing and implementing plans to meet the vocational training needs at the site. He has an overall experience of nine years in community development programs. Kamaleshwer holds a B.Ed. from Maharshi Dayanand University, Master’s degree in English from Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth and a Master’s in Sociology from VBS Purvanchal University.


Mohd Usama is the Programme Officer for Sports Development in Gautam Budh Nagar, Noida. At SRF Foundation, he has the responsibility of managing, monitoring and implementing the program activities. He has 8+ years of work experience. Prior to joining SRF Foundation, he was associated with Hazards Centre (A Unit of Sanchal Foundation) as an Associate Researcher. He has vast experience of working with the community as well as various government agencies on various issues such as displacement & resettlement, RTI, education, labour rights and city’s master plan. He has expertise in working on urban governance issues. He also has experience in coordinating and supporting different community-based organisations working on various issues in different cities like Delhi, Ahmadabad, Jabalpur, Bhopal, Agra, Indore, Vishakhapatnam, Bhubaneswar, etc. He holds Bachelor’s as well as Master’s degree in Human Rights from Aligarh Muslim University, Uttar Pradesh.


Nisha Juneja is the Programme Officer for the Rural Education Program at Mewat and is responsible for managing, implementing and monitoring the Program activities. Prior to joining SRF Foundation, she was associated with SpandanaSphoorty Financial Limited, working on microfinance solutions for women. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from M. D. University, a Master’s degree in Economics from the Meerut University, a Master’s in Commerce from the University of Rajasthan and a Postgraduate diploma in Computer Application from K. U. K. University.


Viral Jivrambhai Patel is the Programme Officer for the IndiGo School Adoption Project at Vadodara, Gujarat and is responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring and reporting all CSR activities at the site. He has a work experience of more than ten years and he knows what it takes to manage and execute such projects effectively. Prior to SRF Foundation, he has worked with Wagh Bakri Tea Group, where he strengthened his project management skills. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arts from the Maharaja Sayajirao University and a Master’s degree in Psychology from Kummarappa Mahavidhayalay, Bhavnagar University.


Simanta Kotoky is the Program Officer for IndiGo School Adoption Program at Dibrugarh, Assam and is responsible for managing, implementing and monitoring the program activities. He has been working in the development sector in fields of academics and education. Prior to joining SRF Foundation, he was associated with Akshar Foundation and was responsible for managing the classrooms, designing and implementing curriculum in under-performing government school. He has also worked with Digital Empowerment Foundation where he was responsible for implementing educational program for girl students. He holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Guwahati and he specialises in Community Organization and Development Practice.


Phungkha Basumatary is the Programme Officer for the Rural Education Programme in Kamrup Metropolitan, Assam and is responsible for managing, coordinating, communicating and monitoring the interventions of the Foundation. In the past, he has worked with Digital Empowerment Foundation & Gramya Vikash Mancha, where he was responsible for implementing the Education projects in various parts of Assam & Meghalaya in collaboration with TISS Mumbai & Tata Trusts. He is a postgraduate in Master of Arts in Social Work from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Guwahati Campus. He also holds a certificate in ‘Technology in Education’ from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai.


Pradeep Savanur is the Programme Officer for the Capgemini School Adoption Project, Bangalore and is responsible for implementing, monitoring and reporting the CSR engagement activities and programs. In the past, he has worked with Agastya, where he effectively implemented and monitored the Teachers Training program and the Young Instructor Leader Program. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science from the Karnataka University and a Master’s in Education from Kuvempu University.


Prashant Sharma is the Programme Officer for the IndiGo School Adoption Project in Indore, MP and is responsible for managing, coordinating, communicating and monitoring of the CSR engagement activities at the site. In the past, he has worked with Pragya-India, where he gained hands-on experience in risk assessment and disaster management for the villages in Uttarkashi district. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from the Madhav Institute of Technology & Science and a certification on Climate Change, CEE.


Rajesh Vasava is the Programme Officer at Dahej and is responsible for communicating, coordinating and facilitating the implementation of the CSR programs at the site. He has an overall experience of seven years in the field of rural development, health care and education. He has worked with various organizations including APM Terminals, Gujarat Pipavav Port Limited, Deepak Nitrite Limited for several CSR projects. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from St. Xaviers’s College, Ahmedabad and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Bombay.


Saurabh Shukla is the Programme Officer for the School Adoption Project at Pant Nagar and is responsible for facilitating the operational and administrative support required to implement the CSR programs at the site. He has an overall work experience of five years in the social development sector. Prior to SRF Foundation, he has worked with Kaivalya Education Foundation, Gujarat where he led two programs, namely the Principal Leadership Development Program and District Transformation Program. He holds a B. Ed. and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Dr. R.M.L. Awadh University and is a Gandhi fellow.
