CHANGING LIVES, BRINGING SMILES
SRF Foundation is working to bring a smile on the faces of some of the most vulnerable members of society through high-impact interventions in Education, Vocational Skills & Livelihood and Natural Resource Management.
Working closely with the local communities, SRF Foundation partners with like-minded organizations and other NGOs to develop and execute innovative solutions and with the State Governments to create and scale sustainable impact.
For us, education is more than a process of acquiring knowledge. We believe in its power to provide hope, build resilience, and unleash possibility that propels human, economic and social development. SRF Foundation, through its various education programs has reached 269 schools in 21 locations across nine Indian states, positively affecting the lives of 78,714 students.
VOCATIONAL SKILLS AND LIVELIHOOD
We are working towards integrating school dropouts and unemployed youth with the mainstream workforce by equipping them with appropriate skills. Under our flagship skill development program, SRF Foundation runs five skill centers across three Indian states for courses in Spoken English, Electrician Training, Forklift Training and JCB Operator. Today, with more than 6,000 people trained, 80% learners are gainfully employed.
NATURAL RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
Through our natural resource management program, SRF Foundation enhances livelihood of the rural poor by harnessing under-utilized land and water resources. The program also promotes and imparts training on modern agricultural practices along with healthy fruit and vegetable cultivation techniques. To date, 1,765 hectare of wasteland has been converted into cultivable land, benefitting 6,800 farmer families.

With SRF Foundation, we have brought Badminton sport as a daily process into the lives of the impoverished children. We are very happy with the way SRF Foundation has been handling the project and sharing data on the achievement of these children. Sunrise Sports (India) Pvt. Ltd. has been receiving a positive feedback from the School Administration / parents and kids ever since we have incorporated Badminton as a sport into the regular system.
