After having completed his diploma in Electrical & Computer Engineering, Karamvir, a 23-year old from the Bainsi village in Nuh, Mewat (Haryana) was struggling to get a decent job. He heard about the Basic Electrician Training Program (BETP), conducted jointly by the SRF Foundation and Schneider Electric and decided to enroll for the 4-month course. After completing the course and with his newfound confidence, he applied for a job. Not only did he land the job he was aspiring for, he even got a raise in his salary in six months.
Today, he is happy and recommends others in his community to join the BETP program and gain valuable practical and theoretical experience in electrician training.
