Launched in 2010, in collaboration with IBM India Pvt. Ltd, the IBM KidSmart Program provides the students of Government primary schools with an opportunity to experience state-of-the-art computer-aided learning. The initiative integrates reading with cognitive, physical and other creative aspects of learning. SRF Foundation operates the program in five States namely, Haryana (Mewat), Rajasthan (Bhiwadi), Gujarat (Dahej), Madhya Pradesh (Gwalior and Dhar) and Tamil Nadu (Gummidipoondi & Viralimalai, Trichy).

The efforts of the State Education Departments of Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, the local panchayats and the community have been instrumental in the success of this program.
