The Smart Shiksha and HP WOW Digital Bus Program, implemented by SRF Foundation, bring technology directly to rural and semi-urban communities through mobile digital classrooms. These buses bridge gaps in access by making digital learning and essential online services available at the doorstep of learners.
At the core of the initiative is a foundational computer literacy course that equips youth and community members with essential digital skills. The buses also serve as mobile service centers, enabling individuals to access online government services, educational resources, and day-to-day digital applications confidently and independently.
To strengthen school education, the buses function as mobile computer labs that support teachers and students through hands-on digital learning sessions. Community engagement activities—from demonstrations to awareness drives—further build digital awareness at the grassroots level, fostering informed, connected, and future-ready communities.
