SRF Foundation, in collaboration with Shell, implements the Skills4Future program across 4 states: Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka, and Maharashtra. The program equips ITI students with essential green skills, electric vehicle technology, and digital literacy. The initiative focuses on preparing students for technician-level roles in the evolving automotive sector by integrating hands-on training in electric vehicle systems, battery management, charging infrastructure, and diagnostics. Through the establishment of specialized Green Skills (EV) Labs and the development of a comprehensive curriculum, the program emphasizes practical learning and sustainability. By introducing digital tools and fostering eco-friendly practices, Skills4Future aims to bridge the skills gap, enhance employability, and support India’s transition to a green economy.
