The Anganwadi Development Program (ADP) of SRF Foundation strengthens early childhood education by nurturing the holistic development of children aged 3–6 years. Implemented across 308 Anganwadi Centres in 7 locations across 5 states, the program supports foundational learning during the most critical years of growth. In collaboration with the ICDS Department, the initiative focuses on creating safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environments.
The program includes model and non-model Anganwadi Centres. Model centres undergo both physical and academic transformation, featuring child-friendly spaces, BaLA (Building as Learning Aid) designs, and ergonomic furniture. Non-model centres focus on academic enrichment through structured curriculum support, workbooks, storybooks, toys, and capacity-building of Anganwadi workers.
Aligned with NEP 2020, the curriculum promotes play-based learning and fosters language, cognitive, physical, and social skills. Health and hygiene practices are reinforced through Swachchta kits and daily routines. By making learning joyful and inclusive, the program helps children become school-ready and confident learners.
