Through SRF Virasat, a flagship cultural collaboration between SRF Limited and SPIC MACAY, a nationwide celebration of India’s classical heritage has reached schools and colleges across 15 states during the 2024–25 session. With over 421 immersive programs, nearly 3 lakh students experienced the depth and beauty of Indian classical music and dance. Supported by more than 500 volunteers and 215 empanelled artists, SRF Virasat has carried traditional art forms into classrooms across metropolitan cities and remote villages alike, making cultural education accessible, inclusive, and deeply engaging.
From Kathakali and Bharatanatyam to Santoor, Veena, and Dhrupad vocals, the programs featured some of India’s most respected maestros, inspiring students through performances, lecture-demonstrations, and interactive sessions. Hosted in institutions ranging from government schools to premier institutes, SRF Virasat has encouraged curiosity, discipline, and emotional connection with India’s artistic legacy. The initiative is nurturing a generation that values heritage, listens deeply, and expresses creatively—honouring tradition while stepping confidently into the future.
