Akshay Saxena is the Co-Founder of Avanti Fellows and an Ashoka Fellow, widely recognized for pioneering solutions in education and social innovation. His leadership has earned global acclaim, including the 2024 Social Entrepreneur of the Year Award from the Schwab Foundation, along with the DRK and Echoing Green Fellowships. An IIT Bombay Young Alumni Achiever, Akshay previously worked with the Boston Consulting Group, supported field programs with the UN World Food Programme and Save the Children, and contributed to tech startups in Silicon Valley. He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from IIT Bombay.
