With his passion to unlock the potential that each individual has, and enabling them to achieve their best, Mr. Girish Singhania started his journey long before he started EduBridge. Born in a conservative Marwari family in Kolkata, being an entrepreneur was in his blood. So even while working at corporates, he was always looking for that right opportunity and EduBridge was the one masterpiece that allowed him to match his commercial interests along with his social interests. He strongly believes that the biggest factor of success for our country will be our ability to transform our people into high-performing contributors to the economy. This led to the birth of EduBridge and is still paramount to the vision and mission of the company after more than a decade of its existence.
An IIM Bangalore graduate, Mr. Girish Singhania is passionate about developing businesses which are also beneficial to society. He is a sports fanatic and claims that he would have been a part of the Indian cricket team had it not been for IIM. He brings 15 years of experience across the Education, FMCG and Financial Services sectors and is driven by a visceral “hard-wired” need to strategize, innovate, execute and disprove the words – “It can’t be done”.
Mr. Girish Singhania comes from a strong operational background, having worked in one of the world’s largest FMCG companies – Procter & Gamble. He then moved on to an investment bank in Mumbai (Edelweiss) where he worked with global financial investors to bring investments into the Indian market. The invaluable combination of financial as well as operations experience stands him in good stead to lead EduBridge and also makes him eligible for being considered as an outstanding Leader. EduBridge has grown manifolds under his leadership!
