A global leader with a track record spanning 35+ years, Ravi has worked in India, London and Bahrain. He moved from Auditing, Consulting, Banking to Shared Services (BPO Industry) and is currently in to Education and Consulting. Leading large, remote, multicultural teams, developing and executing business relevant strategies and developing key talent are his core competencies. He is the Chairperson of eVidyaloka Trust, a not-for-profit social enterprise in to remote education for rural children in India. eVidyaloka currently operates digital classrooms, mobile applications and teach through television programs in 825 villages across 18 States to teach 2 lakh children live and reaches 3 crore children on TV. He is the Founder of Smrti Academy (CBSE School) and Floretz Academy (Montessori School) In the field of education, Ravi has been awarded as a) Exemplars Award from Rotary Foundation for Exemplary Work at Grassroots Level in driving social change in the country b) Most Impactful School Leader 2023 by IPN Foundation As part of the Board of Directors of Ujjivan Small Finance Bank (a listed company), he works with underprivileged societies by providing them with much needed finance to help build a stronger India at the grassroots level. He is also on various committees of the Bank such as Audit Committee, IT Strategy Committee (Chair), Corporate Strategy Committee, High Value Frauds Committee (Chair), Committee of Directors and Independent Directors Committee Earlier, in his role as Senior Vice President of HP’s Global Business Services, he was responsible for developing the company’s shared services (BPO, ITO and KPO) strategy and its global operating model. He led a team of 18,000 people spread across 14 global centers and co-located in 58 countries. He was also the Chairman of HP in India. He joined Hewlett Packard from ANZ Bank’s global back office where he was the Managing Director, responsible for managing a team of over 7,000 in technology and operations across India, Australia, New Zealand and parts of Asia. Before that he was part of the Senior Management Team that set up Bank Muscat in India. He was the Head of Corporate and Investment Banking and the Deputy CEO of Bank Muscat in India. He has been conducting workshops for Corporates in Design Thinking and Leadership. His customers include Schneider Electric, Syngenta, AXA, Cap Gemini, KPMG, Infosys, Lafarge (now Adani Group), Rural Shores, Sutherland, Wipro to name a few. His qualifications include B.Com, FCCA (UK) and ACMA (UK). He has done a Program for CFOs with Wharton Business School, USA and the Certification Exam for Independent Directors from the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs, New Delhi.
